JSNE depends on a select group of highly-regarded local journalists and media...they consistently show professional commitments to uncovering the truth about local right-wing extremism,  hate and threats to democracy.  

Simply stated - they are first on JSNE's daily media rounds. 

These journalists regularly produce content directly related to the DougCo Cabal.  And they accept inputs and news leads from the JSNE community.

Based in Colorado, these professionals bring many years of reporting experience and editorial commentary, and they   

have joined with media orgs. provide latitude for their direct style of journalism.

Jason is a progressive journalist and former media critic for the Rocky Mountain News.   Jason co-founded Rocky Mountain Media Watch, a nonprofit organization that held the news media to its own professional standards, which became the Colorado Times Recorder in 2022

Erik Maulbetsch is a progressive investigative reporter. He writes largely on Colorado politics and policy, with a focus on right-wing extremists, hate groups, disinformation, and conspiracy theorists. Logan M. Davis is a progressive researcher and writer based in Denver, specializing in the threat posed by right-wing extremism. He is also a political communications consultant. He is a proud member of Denver NewsGuild and co-founder of the Political Workers Guild of Colorado.

QUENTIN YOUNG

Editor, Colorado Newsline.  Quentin Young is an award-winning journalist who has served as a reporter and editor at the Boulder Daily Camera, Longmont Times-Call and other Colorado outlets. His career includes stints covering news, writing editorials, and reviewing art exhibitions and theater. He Earned top investigative reporting honors from the Colorado chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.


CHASE WOODRUFF 

Senior Reporter, Colorado Newsline Chase Woodruff covers the environment, the economy and other stories for Newsline. Channel 9 is home to Next with Kyle Clark, feature and in-depth analyses.   

KUSA (Channel 9) is a television station in Denver, Colorado, United States, affiliated with NBC. It is owned by Tegna Inc. alongside MyNetworkTV affiliate KTVD (channel 20). 


KYLE CLARK

Anchor and Managing Editor, Next with Kyle Clark 9NEWS.  Kyle Clark has been reporting for 9NEWS since 2007.  He anchors 9NEWS and is the anchor and managing editor of Next with Kyle Clark, airing weeknights at 6 p.m.   Clark launched Next in 2016 as an alternative to traditional newscasts.
