Just Say NO to Extremism (JSNE) is a non-partisan community organization dedicated to public education, research, and activism. JSNE is volunteer-based and non-commercial - we do not ask or accept contributions, provide financial sponsorships, or offer paid subscriptions or products. JSNE is registered as a limited liability corporation in Colorado.
PURPOSE
Our explicit purpose is journalistic. We identify and call-out the local cabal of right-wing ideologues in Douglas County, Colorado, and their associations and collusions with like-minded people, organizations, and benefactors across the region, state, and nation. For our purpose, JSNE refers to this ideological construct as "The Cabal".
ACTIVITIES
Investigate and publicize the clandestine activities of local figures—elected officials, political parties, and institutions—in the context of their associations with divisive extremist ideologies, including MAGA, militias, dark money astroturfing, evangelical nativism, and anti-government militias.
Provide topical research to develop the ongoing story of Douglas County's role as a prototypical right-wing testbed for national movements and ideologies. We rely on pertinent content from a selected Colorado/national network of reliable investigative journalists, independent media sources, and watchdogs.
Identify the dark-moneyed billionaires and their organizations driving far-right ideologies, locally and nationally.
Publish and disseminate JSNE's work through the website and social media, fostering activism by "poking the bear."

JSNE is a non-partisan, non-commercial organization relying on community volunteers. Its mission of fact-finding and storytelling requires engaging with a selected public domain of trustworthy professional journalism. From time to time, JSNE may provide copyrighted material owned by a third party, the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. Despite the rights of copyright owners under the Copyright Act, Section 107 allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission from the rights holders for purposes such as education, criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. These so-called Fair Uses are permitted even if the use of the work might otherwise be infringing.
